So, I\u2019ve been playing with different programs to update the blog.\u00a0 I usually write my draft in OpenOffice, then copy and paste it over to the webeditor, but that\u2019s \u2026 aesthetically displeasing to me.\u00a0 MS Word is pretty good for it, but I haven\u2019t ever gotten around to buying a copy of MSOffice, and my trial ran out again.\u00a0 (Grrr, poverty.)<\/p>\n
Today I discovered Windows Live Writer, which I like a lot lo far.\u00a0 It gives me a really, really good idea of what my posts will look like when I\u2019m done (insasmuch as that even matters), and pasting images from my computer or the web is much easier.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure yet, but I think I can even set it up to update my livejournal, too, which would be neat.\u00a0 I really hate the LJ webeditor.<\/p>\n
Today I also discovered the Stats tracker on this blog.\u00a0 First: I\u2019m an idiot and I\u2019ve been tracking my own pageviews, so the count is practically meaningless (I only use this thing twelve times a day to keep up on my blogroll).\u00a0 But!\u00a0 Not wholly meaningless!\u00a0 People from as far away as Russia and South Africa have visited!\u00a0\u00a0 That\u2019s awesome!\u00a0 Hello out there!\u00a0 (::waves vigorously::)\u00a0 Folks from China, the UK, and Latvia have come by!\u00a0 (And of, course, many Americans \u2026 almost all of whom might actually be me.)\u00a0 It\u2019s very, very exciting to me to have had visitors from not the US.\u00a0 I can\u2019t really explain why (that whole crazy thing).<\/p>\n
Also, most of my viewers come from Facebook (which doesn\u2019t surprise me) and that my altar is the most interesting thing I\u2019ve written about so far.\u00a0 So there will definitely be more of that.<\/p>\n
