{"id":317,"date":"2012-03-05T12:02:41","date_gmt":"2012-03-05T18:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.wordpress.com\/?p=317"},"modified":"2012-03-05T12:02:41","modified_gmt":"2012-03-05T18:02:41","slug":"abramelin-oil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.com\/index.php\/2012\/03\/05\/abramelin-oil\/","title":{"rendered":"Abramelin Oil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in <a href=\"http:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.wordpress.com\/2011\/10\/17\/yesod-altar\/\">November<\/a>, when I was still on track with my work through <a href=\"http:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.wordpress.com\/2011\/12\/05\/christopher-penczaks-temple-of-high-witchcraft\/\">Penczak\u2019s Temple of High Witchcraft<\/a><em><\/em>, I started a batch of Abramelin Oil.\u00a0 I finally got around to distilling it.\u00a0 As described previously, I used <a href=\"http:\/\/aaronleitch.wordpress.com\/2011\/08\/18\/making-abramelin-holy-oil\/\">Aaron Leitch\u2019s technique<\/a>, and about 3.5 oz total dry materia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/03\/img_5052.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image:none;padding-left:0;padding-right:0;display:block;float:none;padding-top:0;margin:0 auto 2px;border:0;\" title=\"IMG_5052\" src=\"http:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/03\/img_5052_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5052\" width=\"244\" height=\"184\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mixed with 1.6 oz olive oil (a hair short of the 2:1 ratio the recipe called for, but I\u2019d rather it a little strong over a little weak), it\u2019s still a pretty amazing shade of red.\u00a0 Below was my net result, which turned out pretty awesome:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/03\/img_5053.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image:none;padding-left:0;padding-right:0;display:block;float:none;padding-top:0;margin:0 auto 2px;border:0;\" title=\"IMG_5053\" src=\"http:\/\/journeythroughtheobsidiandream.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/03\/img_5053_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5053\" width=\"184\" height=\"244\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve thrown the Dead Head back in the cabinet to try to extract whatever\u2019s left, and will add that in a month or two once I\u2019m content I\u2019ve gotten out all the essential oil that I can.<\/p>\n<p>In the mean time this will make a pretty awesome offering and dedication oil.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Back in November, when I was still on track with my work through Penczak\u2019s Temple of High Witchcraft, I started a batch of Abramelin Oil.\u00a0 I finally got around to distilling it.\u00a0 As described previously, I used Aaron Leitch\u2019s technique, and about 3.5 oz total dry materia.
